Job Support Worker, Cleveland

Individualised Community Access Services (ICAS) are looking for FEMALE Support Workers to provide support to a number of clients located in Brisbane North - North Lakes to Caboolture - Mulitple positions available.

ICAS has provided disability support services within the greater Brisbane region for over 30 years, and we take pride in our long-term quality relationships with both clients and staff.

We actively seek to understand the clients expressed needs and stated NDIS goals and look for support workers that are passionate and committed to client centered practice, building individual capacity and celebrating client achievements.

Our team deliver a range of supports including assisting clients to with domestic support and daily household activities, attending outings in the community and participating in recreational and social activities including transport, personal care, and companionship.

The right candidate will:

• Demonstrate a passion to provide quality support, where you believe your role is more than just a job and uphold our motto - "With ICAS, I can...."
• An excellent work ready attitude able to be verified by 2 professional references.
• A personal commitment to lifelong learning and professional development.
• NDIS Workers Screening & Blue Card (or willing to obtain).
• CPR and First Aid (or willing to obtain).
• National Police Check
• Open Driver’s License, own vehicle, and comprehensive insurance.
• Be and sensitive to client requests and be able to work within specific client requested guidelines.
• Be kind, caring and compassionate in nature
• Be able to engage with the children and family dogs.
• Have experience with wheelchairs, manual handling and personal care. Aged care experience may be an advantage.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: $33.00 – $38.00 per hour
