The Location
CapellaBay, a 133 bed residential aged care facility located in the heart of Capalaba. The quiet waters of the Bay are a haven for boating and fishing enthusiasts, as well as family day’s out and shopping centres, schools and medical centres are just around the corner from the residence.
The Role
As an Assistant in Nursing you’ll provide assistance to our residents, ensuring they are supported with services and activities that are centred around their wellbeing, independence, interests and choices.
To provide high quality, safe, and timely contemporary personal care; assisting with the functions of daily living according to the individual needs of residents.Support and care for residents as they age and assisting them to maintain their independence and live with dignity, self-determination and comfort.Assist the resident with self-care needs, safe mobility and transfers, and complete documentation.Join a caring community with opportunities to progress your career in nursing or leadership.Ensuring an effective and consumer focused care and service delivery for all residents.
To Be Successful, You Will Have
Certificate III in Aged Care or Individual supportExperience in care role highly regardedValid working rights in Australia (Passport, Birth Certificate etc.)Complete a police check2025 Flu vaccination (or willingness to obtain)Evidence of Covid-19 vaccinations (minimum of 1 vaccination)
